These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dominica Cable Car website and services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing this website or purchasing tickets, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. Services Description
The Dominica Cable Car provides aerial tramway transportation services between Laudat Base Station and the Boiling Lake Summit Station, along with related tourism services, ticket sales, and informational content through this website.
3. Ticket Purchases & Reservations
- Pricing: All prices are listed in Eastern Caribbean Dollars (EC$) unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice.
- Reservations: Tickets may be reserved online. A valid booking confirmation is required for boarding.
- Cancellations: Free cancellation is available up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure time. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a fee of up to 50% of the ticket price.
- No-shows: Failure to arrive at the scheduled time without prior cancellation forfeits the full ticket price.
- Refunds: Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.
4. Passenger Safety & Conduct
- All passengers must comply with safety instructions from cable car staff at all times.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Maximum weight per cable car cabin: 800 kg (10 passengers).
- Prohibited items include: drones, glass containers, open flames, pets (except service animals), and hazardous materials.
- We reserve the right to refuse boarding to any person who appears intoxicated, disruptive, or in violation of safety protocols.
5. Weather & Operational Disruptions
Cable car operations are subject to weather conditions. In the event of high winds, lightning, or other unsafe conditions, operations may be suspended without prior notice. In such cases:
- A full refund or rescheduling will be offered at no additional cost.
- We are not liable for indirect costs such as travel, accommodation, or lost time.
6. Liability Limitations
The Dominica Cable Car is operated in compliance with EN 12929 European safety standards. While we take every reasonable precaution to ensure passenger safety:
- Passengers ride at their own risk and are advised to follow all posted safety guidelines.
- We are not liable for personal injury, loss, or damage arising from passenger negligence or failure to follow safety instructions.
- Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the ticket price paid.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, videos, and design elements, is the property of the Dominica Cable Car or its licensors. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification is prohibited.
8. Photography & Media
Personal photography and video is permitted during the ride. By purchasing a Professional Photo Package, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to use captured images for promotional purposes. Commercial filming requires prior written authorisation.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Dominica. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dominica.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
